Getting Started: Publish Your App

1. Publish the App with SimiCart Developer accounts or by your Developer accounts

There are 2 ways that you can request to publish your app from App Preview tab (By clicking Publish App) orPublish tab

On the Publish Apps interface, you can change the tabs between Publish iOS App and Publish Android App. You need to fill all the required fields for the information needed to publish your app to the stores.

a. Publish iOS App
In this section, you can choose between Submit by SimiCart Apple Developer account or your own one.

If you choose to publish by SimiCart’s account, you will provide us these information: Bundle Id, Description, Keywords. Please see the image below for more details. We will help you publish the app to store with those information provided. After completing the fields, click on Request to upload app to Apple store.

If you choose to publish app by your own Apple account, besides the information provided when publishing by SimiCart account, you will need to determine the app version name, app version code, and the most important things are Provisioning profile, and Developer certificate (.p12 file), accompany password of the certificate. After completed entering those needed fields, select on Get your release file to get the .ipa file for publishing by yourself to Apple Store.

b. Publish Android App
Again, you can choose between Submit by SimiCart Google Developer account or your own one.

            If you choose to publish by SimiCart’s account, you will provide us these information: Service Json file (guidance to find your Service Json file here),  Android Key, Description, Short Description. Please see the image below for more details. We will help you publish the app to store with those information provided. After completing the fields, click on Request to upload app to Play store.

If you choose to publish app by your own Google account, besides the information provided when publishing by SimiCart account, you will need to determine the app version name, app version code. After completed entering those needed fields, select on Get your release file to get the .apk file for publishing by yourself to Play Store.

2. Share your accounts with us to get our help

Please follow iOS app submission guide and Android app submission guide.

If you can’t do it, please follow steps below, SimiCart will help you do it.

2.1. Provide us your account (Only Apple Developer Account with type Individual)

Please provide us the details for both Apple and Google Developer Account, we will access them and finish all of the publishing activities.

 

2.2. Share us your account permission

With a shared account you will not need to provide us your App Developer account information.

2.2.1. iOS Developer account (Type of account: Company/Organization)

a. Visit https://itunesconnect.apple.com/, log in to your account and from your dashboard, click Users and Roles.

From Users and Roles dashboard click on (+) sign next to User

Please share the Itunes connect account to developer@simicart.com by filling out the form below.

b. Visit https://developer.apple.com/ and log in with your account. From your dashboard, click People and then Invite People

 

Enter developer@simicart.com to invite as Admin and finish the process.

2.2.2    Android Developer Account

  • Sign in to your Google Play Developer Console.
  • Click Settings image019.pngDeveloper Account – User & permissions. Select Invite new user and follow the on-screen instructions to add androidteam@simicart.com

Visibility

View information for a specific app or all apps (read-only access)

For a user to view information in the Reports section of the console image021.png, the Visibility permission needs to be set to "Global."

Create & edit draft apps

Create new apps in draft and edit existing drafts

Users can't publish applications to production

For a user to create draft apps, here's how you need to set up permissions:

●      Visibility: Set to "Global"

●      Create & edit draft apps: Set to "Global"

Edit store listing, pricing & distribution

Edit Store Listing information, including text and images for a published production app

Edit pricing and distribution and in-app products for a published production app

Edit "What's New"

Create and edit promotions

 

Manage Production APKs

Publish and make any changes to APKs that are in production - including editing APK Expansion Files, configuring a staged rollout, changing the list of blacklisted devices, unpublishing an app, uploading and managing draft APKs in production

 

Manage Alpha & Beta APKs

Make changes to APKs that are in alpha, beta, or draft status

Upload draft APKs

Manage APKs in alpha or beta

Manage APK Expansion files

Unpublish an app that has only been published in alpha or beta

 

3. Use the "Role" drop-down to choose a pre-defined role or use the checkboxes for individual permissions. Please select from Visibility to Manage Alpha & Beta APKs

4. Click Send Invitation.
